A journey to Arupadai Veedu



It is a maxim in Tamil Nadu-“With every mount there is a shrine of Lord Muruga.” Murugan Swami which popularly Known as Kartikay in North is son of Lord Shiva and Parvathi and sibling of Lord Ganesha. You will find Muruga temples in Tamil Nadu in Numerous Number but the Arupadai Veddu temple which are six in number are the most important temples of them all. Here Lord Muruga vanquished the demonic forces Soorapadama. Then it is the third temple of Palani. It is said that here, the sage Agasthya learned five grammar of Tamil language through Lord Muruga. Tiruverakam is fourth temple, where Lord Muruga gave updesha to his father, Lord Shiva and therefore known as Gurunath. Fifth house of Muruga is Kunduthoraadal, it was considered as the school of the thoughts and the sixth house of the series is Pazhamuthircholai. it is very beautiful temple situated at a very picturesque landscape.
