South India is known for its magnificent temples and royal structures. The designs and architecture of these temples is absolutely unique and reflects the royalty of Gods and Goddesses people used to pray back in the ancient era. Meenakshi temple is located in the city of Madurai which is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. The entire temple complex houses 14 gateway towers (domes) with much crafts on display. Kanchipuram temple was built by the Pallava kings. Kanchipuram is basically a temple city with plenty of temples and is also famous for its silk sarees. Located 72 km off Chennai, the city is also known as the “city of thousand temples”. Kanchi temple is considered among the seven holiest temples belonging to the Hindu temple. The temple is carved out of rock and serves Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.

Srirangam Temple
Srirangam temple is located in the city of Tiruchirapally in Tamil Nadu. It is dedicated to Lord Srirangaswamy in his reclining form. The temple is listed as one of the longest performing temple in the history of world. The temple is one of the largest temples in world and is a must see for both religious people and those willing to learn architecture.

Whatever you have written in your blog about south India is correct and impressive. I have been there for one year and during my stay I explored various destination of this magnificent part of India through South India Tour Packages. Again am looking for leisure time to make a plan to embark on a South India Tour.
